OUR HISTORY
Mylos was founded on the remains of the only windmill in the region of Sfakia.
Due to the strong winds that Frangokastello is famous for, the family owning the mill decided to stop opperating for safety reasons.
With lots of love and respect for our history the old mill has been restored to its former glory, waiting for you to experience a memorable stay, or enjoy our local specialities admiring the unique views of the historical castle blending perfectly into the Cretan natural environment.
